I still had to use the adhesive tape to get them just the right length, which worked easily. These are pretty and for the low price, I'm very happy.These are not black out curtains. I wish they were, but they are still great curtains. The color was perfect. The material is very soft. I washed them before hanging to get out some of the wrinkles from being folded. They handled washing and tumble dry on low well. They ironed easily to get the remaining wrinkles out. Well, thanks to these curtains, that is no longer an issue for me.I sought darkening curtains for my daughter’s bedroom. Since her colors are blush pink, gray, and white, I thought it went well with her gray walls and white baseboards. It gave the room a pop of color and blocked out a lot of light. Depending on the time of day, there may be a bit of sun cast, but the room is still dark nonetheless. When it is night, the room is pitch black and blocks the outside light that would affect my daughter’s nighttime sleep.Colour is perfect..Material is flimsy & they are Room Darkening not Blackout..
