I bought this rug for my guest room and was excited because I have another Nourison rug in my living room that looks nice and went down easily. I read others’ reviews and was pleased to see no one had any issues with it being so inexpensive. The rug looks great — went down easily just as my other one … but it STINKS. I know rugs sometimes off-gas when you first open them, but I’ve never had an area rug smell for more than 24 hours and I’m going on 48.Smells like manure and mold mixed together. I’ve had fans going, moved plants in the room to purify the air, used Febreze, the special vacuum up baking soda, new Glade plug-ins, have had the air purifier running since I put it down and despite living in Florida, had the windows open for six hours yesterday trying to air it out.Hope the smell goes away soon, or else I’m going to have to move all the furniture again and return it and I’ll be bummed because it looks nice in the room.We bought it so our new puppy wouldn’t hurt her legs on our wood floors. Plus we have kids. So it’s only been three months but has withstood potty training messy kids and winter wet snow meet.So far we are liking this rug. It is a decent rug, not really anything special to it, but looks nice in our room. The material is a little on the thin side, it is much better than no rug but it isn’t overly thick. It is soft and comfortable to walk and play on. The design is really nice, the blues mixed with the subtle bits of white really looks good in person and brightens up our space. Overall we like it. It is good for our room and what we were wanting. We think the quality could definitely be better but it is good for the price. There was a strong chemical smell when we opened it, but it went away after the first day. I hope this assists you with your shopping. If so feel free to let me and others know below and leave a comment with any questions you might have.Cheers, CassMy home is decorated in navy, white and gray and this works wonderfully. I needed a new kitchen rug that had the ability to camouflage and this is a good choice. I have been able to spot clean anything that has fallen on it so far but there's so much going on with it that it really does hide and is forgiving. It comes rolled up and settles out pretty easily when you place it on the floor. I have used some double-sided tape to attach it to our pergo because it slides around like crazy. It is polypropylene so I know that certain things aren't going to come out of it but it's fairly easy to clean so far, it is soft enough underfoot but I do recommend a pad underneath it because it is a little on the thin side. Overall, great design color and quality is okay.We have been looking for the perfect rug to protect our new hardwood kitchen floor. The pattern is perfect for our modern farm house themed home. I love the pattern and beautiful combination of blue, grey, and white. The only reason for giving this rug four instead of five stars is that it slides across the floor without a rug pad underneath. It was actually quite dangerous until we purchased this additional padding. Otherwise, I highly recommend this rug!Very pretty and calming. No unpleasant aromas or anything when we unrolled it. Very pretty. We have a couple of other rugs from this company and have never really been disappointed.I chose this carpet because the color matches the floor. The design is nice, although nothing spectacular .. kind of average looking which is why I give it 4 stars rather than 5.This is made from polypropylene material. This type of material is hydrophobic which means that it repels water and absorbs oil. So this is especially good for places that are exposed to water (such as an entryway where people come in from the rain). It is not good for locations where people get oily substances on it like in the garage. This carpet is Made in India.I'm re-doing several spaces, and splurged on about 10 of these 5X7 rugs. I love how they fit a small living space/between furniture perfectly. This size can easily be tucked a bit under a bed, and fill the space around the foot-board. This rug in particular is a perfect blend of greys, blues, and creamy white. The design is very "tribal" in nature and while is a pattern, manages to also look neutral. Looks lovely in the center of a room between the couch and a couple arm chairs, creating a personal cozy space.
